Do you like to bridge the gap between operations and development? Then Cegeka's rapidly growing and passionate Data & AI team has an interesting challenge for you! We are looking for a Cloud DataOps Platform Engineer, a crucial role in modern data-driven organisations where scalability, reliability and automation are key. 

• You are a driving force for further developing the DevOps culture within our Data & AI team. This means that you contribute to best practices regarding automation, version control, releases, infrastructure, security, etc. Thanks to your coaching style, you know how to lift other project members to a higher level.
• You build and manage data platforms that run analytics, AI and ML.
• You are responsible for setting up, maintaining and automating cloud environments using IaC tools such as Terraform and Bicep.
• You develop, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data-related applications in Azure.
• You will automate data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• You will be responsible for integrating services such as Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
• You will configure and manage Azure infrastructure for data applications, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, and others.
• You will perform quality checks, testing and monitoring of data sets.
• You will oversee cost optimisation, security and monitoring of cloud resources.
• You will respond quickly to operational incidents in the data environment.

• You are an eager to learn and driven Cloud Engineer with several years of professional experience with Azure.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are a plus.  
• You have experience writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates or similar.
• You have experience setting up automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Github Actions, or similar tools.
• You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of basic system administration or experience working with system administrators is a plus.
• You write high-quality, readable code and refactor where necessary. You guarantee quality through test-driven development and continuous learning.
• You have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Not only is your knowledge important, we consider your motivation, insight and attitude to be just as important. You have a dynamic personality and are eager to learn.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
