As a Data & AI Architect, you play a key role in delivering innovative data and AI solutions with real social impact. You guide projects from concept to production, combining strategic insight with deep technical expertise. You enable teams to experiment and achieve quick results, while building a sustainable architecture for the future.

  • You design the strategic blueprint for data and AI solutions that support business objectives. You provide technical leadership, oversee implementations and safeguard quality, performance and consistency. You foster continuous improvement, identify optimisation opportunities and embrace innovation at every stage. Analyse customer needs and translate them into concrete use cases and implementation plans. Make, justify and integrate technology choices into a coherent solution. Define roadmaps with deadlines, milestones, stakeholders and risks. Analyse experiment results, adjust parameters or algorithms and propose alternatives. Develop a clear vision on how the solution will be used and evolve within the organisation. Work hands-on: run notebooks, build prototypes, test APIs, evaluate models and develop critical components. Work with modern tools such as Databricks, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio and other Azure components.

What you need to succeed:

  • Strong technical expertise in data and AI development, preferably within Azure. Experience with integration architectures, data lakes and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). Ability to translate AI concepts into practical applications. Familiarity with complex organisational structures such as public-sector or large-enterprise environments. Excellent stakeholder-management skills: aligning different interests and fostering collaboration. Leadership that delivers results while building engagement and trust. Customer focus, hands-on mentality and commitment to tangible outcomes. Strong communication skills: able to adapt your message to your audience, from technical teams to management. Interest in exploring the field of multi-agent systems. Fluency in Dutch.
