Together, we deliver innovative digital transformation solutions for various sectors worldwide.  We are looking for experienced Data Protection Consultants to realize challenging projects within the field of Data Protection & Compliance. In this role, you will ensure the correct application of data protection and/or information security laws and regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and ensure their integration into the daily operations of organizations. With your expertise, you will help clients comply with the legislation. 

• As an experienced Data Protection Consultant, you take the lead in planning, coordinating, implementing and reporting on data protection and/or information security projects. 
• You creatively address complex issues and provide solution-oriented approaches. 
• You competently execute the required activities and prepare necessary deliverables and documentation. 
• You draft risk-based compliance strategies and implement improvements from a legal, IT and information security perspective. 
• You also perform assessments, gap and risk analyses, after which you draw up concrete improvement plans for your client. 
• You always stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data protection and/or information security and actively share your knowledge within the team. 
• With your experience you inspire and coach junior colleagues to reach their full potential, and contribute to the growth of our team. 

• Education and experience in data protection: You have a master's degree, e.g. in Law, and at least three years of experience in compliance, data protection and information security. 
• Knowledge of regulations and standards: You have a thorough understanding of laws and regulations such as GDPR and NIS, and are familiar with ISO standards around information security (27001, 27002, 27005) and other standards such as COBIT. 
• Certifications and tools: Knowledge of or experience with tools (in the field of data discovery and privacy management) and certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, CISM, CISA or CISSP is a plus. 
• Work ethic and specific traits: You work accurately and pragmatically, meet appointments punctually and have a flexible attitude. Quality is always central for you. In addition, you have strong analytical and organisational skills and act solution-oriented. 
• Strong communicator and team player: You enjoy working together, but also function well independently. With your communication skills, you communicate your ideas clearly in both English and Dutch, and possibly also in French.
